The Subconscious Mind and Your Money Life

Just how powerful is the subconscious mind?

Emile Coue’, the father of affirmations, said that when the imagination and willpower are in conflict, the imagination always wins.  After reading many stories of the amazing cures he was able to bring about using only the power of the subconscious mind, it seems he certainly knew what he was talking about..

As many have discovered and confirmed since Dr. Coue’s famous experiments, the subconscious is more powerful than willpower, and our imagination controls our lives far more than we have ever realized.

A lot has been written about the subconscious mind and how it is the seat of the imagination, and that it is actually from the subconscious mind that the power of inspiration and creativity flows. With this bit of information, it should be easy enough to understand why all true change, and all lasting change takes place at the subconscious level.

A number of years ago a true story was published in Readers Digest that told about a railroad worker named Nick Sitzman. The story went into considerable detail about how Nick had frozen to death even though it hadn’t been cold outside at all. It seems he had gone into a refrigerated boxcar and accidentally shut the door behind himself, locking himself inside.

In his imagination he saw himself freezing to death and imagined that it was getting colder and colder inside the car.

Before he died he scratched a note on the wooden floor with a penknife he kept in his pocket, saying if someone didn’t come along soon and rescue him, these would likely be his last words.

When he was found the next morning, the men who found him were perplexed, as he showed all the signs of having frozen to death, which an autopsy later confirmed. However, the railroad car had been sidetracked because the refrigeration unit was faulty, something the poor railroad man did not know.

When it was checked, it was found that the refrigeration unit was indeed out of order and did not function, and the temperature inside the car had actually never gone below 55 degrees. The subconscious is powerful enough that it can kill you if that is what your inner programming is set for it to do.

So, what does this have to do with money you wonder?

Very simply, your subconscious programming is what determines how much money you make; how much of it you will be able to keep; what kind of job you find yourself in; what kind of house you will live in; what kind of car you end up driving; the amount of money you save for retirement; and many other aspects of your life, as well.

Your subconscious money beliefs are in control far beyond what you may have ever thought possible previously... and as long as those beliefs are in control and operating unhindered under the surface, you will continue to experience the same level of financial success, or the lack thereof, as you’ve been experiencing in your life up until now. Your subconscious will see to it that you do.

So, what can be done to change your financial situation now that you know what’s actually in control of it all?

Well, the first thing you will need to do is to become aware of what those subconscious beliefs you have are, and where they came from.

Sometimes it’s helpful to have someone assist you and guide you and allow your mind to surface what those beliefs are, if they don’t present themselves to you easily.

Then, once you’re aware of the programs that have been running under the surface of your awareness all of your life until now, it’s a matter of gaining the cooperation of your subconscious mind and getting it to agree to let go of those old programs that are just not serving you very well anymore, as they once did when you initially developed them.

Once the subconscious has agreed to let the old programming go, you then have a clean space available in which you can then install a more powerful and useful program regarding what would serve you far better in the area of finances going forward from now on in your life.

That’s an overview of the process, essentially, and when done properly, the results can be quite powerful and the changes that occur in the outer world begin to happen and take place automatically.

No one can tell you exactly what the results will be for you in your life, of course, but the first thing that most people notice is a change is their outlook. How you look at and feel about money will usually shift, sometimes quite dramatically. You may begin to see opportunities available to you that you for some reason hadn’t noticed before. You may notice people responding to you differently and in more favorable ways, as they respond to an energy they hadn’t sensed in you before; perhaps a new job or the chance for a promotion might present itself and become available to you.

It’s not uncommon to see changes and improvements in your life like these take place once the inner programming relating to money and your relationship to it has been updated and improved.

I’m sure you’ve heard it said before that any change that you make, if it is to be real and to last, must take place in the subconscious mind, and it's totally true. For it’s the subconscious mind truly that is in control of your world, and this includes the area of how we experience our finances and the level of our income, as well.

To change the experience that you have with money in your life, it is essential that you first change your inner programming, then you will find the outside experience will adjust and begin to conform to the inner upgrades you’ve made automatically as a result, all on its own.
